The Problem
"It is not what happens that decides how you feel, but how you explain it. Resilient thinking is not positive thinking: it is refusing to turn one bad event into a permanent verdict, and choosing the action that helps you grow. With a steadier body and a clear method, that choice becomes much easier to make."

Who it's for

The right fit

Designed for For anyone who notices the same kinds of events keep knocking them off balance and wants a practical method for working with their own thinking.

The second course of RiseWell: The Resilience Series. It trains the skill at the centre of resilient thinking, being accurate and flexible about how you explain what happens, and the regulation that makes clear thinking possible. Six modules move through mind (the ABCDEFG, building on Albert Ellis's ABC and Martin Seligman's ABCDE), heart (how thoughts and feelings drive each other), body (the breath as a lever on your nervous system) and connection (belonging, listening and closeness). It stands on its own, and trains the same four areas as RiseWell 1 at a deeper level.

Common questions

FAQ

Do I need to finish RiseWell 1 first?
No. It follows RiseWell 1 in the series, but the course stands on its own and you can start here.
Is this therapy?
No. RiseWell teaches skills for everyday resilience; it is education and self-help, and does not diagnose or treat anything. If you are carrying something heavy, the Important Notes say where to find support.
Can coaches use it?
Yes. It is written for coaches and facilitators who want a structured way to teach reframing and regulation, as well as for individuals.
