The Problem
"There is no shortage of advice about how to feel better and stay healthy, and much of it is promised rather than tested. It can be hard to know where to start or what is worth your time. This course gathers practices built from their primary studies, tells you honestly what the evidence says, and lets you choose the ones that suit you."

Who it's for

The right fit

Designed for For anyone who wants to look after their health and wellbeing with practices that have been tested, rather than promised.

Positive health is more than the absence of illness: it combines positive psychology with lifestyle medicine, the science of how sleep, movement, food, stress and relationships shape the body. This course is organised after the positive-health framework of Jolanta Burke, Pádraic Dunne, Trudy Meehan, Ciarán O'Boyle and Christian van Nieuwerburgh of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, with their tools in eight groups: calming, energising, coping, feeling good, making meaning, relationships, prospecting and emerging. You open by rating your Wheel of Health and Wellbeing and close by retaking it and writing your own Health Plan.
